Bill will be sharing information about his 40+ year career as a reporter in Bloomington/Normal, including State Farm interactions, and some other memorable items from his time there.

Has Bill ever told you the stories about … Reagan, Rock Hudson, the awkwardness of interviewing a nudist couple in Danvers, accidentally getting the word “s&@%” in the lead paragraph of the sports page on his first night on the job, an amazing house that literally sits RIGHT on the dividing line between Bloomington and Normal and maybe the most incredible story he’s ever heard - on Neil Armstrong, the first guy on the moon, learned from a NASA exec on Bill’s last cruise to Italy and Spain and Barcelona.
