“The Barn III History”

Join us for an engaging presentation by Abby Reel.  Abby is the current owner of The Barn III Dinner Theatre and Event Center in Goodfield, IL.  Her first job was learning all about the original business from Chaunce Conklin and Mary Simon.  Abby completed her BA from Illinois Wesleyan and her Master's from the Illinois Professional School of Psychology.  From 2004 to 2018 she worked as a career counselor and professor at Illinois Wesleyan, Illinois State, Eureka College and Illinois Central College.  She found her "home" again when she purchased Conklin's Barn II Dinner Theatre from Mary Simon.  In 2019 she reopened The Barn III.  

Abby will be speaking about the history of the barn, The Barn III Dinner Theatre and Event Center current operations and their plans for the future.

We hope to have more details to share before the event.

Feel free to come early to socialize with friends and coworkers.  This will be our first event at the ISU Alumni Center so you may want to arrive early just to look around.

SHIP Counselors (Senior Health Insurance Program) will be available at the 3rd Quarter Meeting on September 12th to provide information about Medicare and how to make individual appointments with SHIP at the ARC (Activity Recreation Center, 600 E Willow Street in Normal IL).
