  • ISU Alumni Center 1101 North Main Street Normal, IL, 61761 United States (map)

This will be an IN-PERSON event and LIVESTREAMED. This event will be RECORDED for later viewing.

“Tips to Organize Your Records NOW, Before Others Need Them”

Our speaker will be Sonja Reece. Sonja is a speaker and advisor on getting your records organized. Being prepared for the unexpected or even gradual changes in ability involves you and your family knowing where to find important information. To make that easier, she developed a reference guide to her personal, home, and business affairs that she calls her “Grab and Go Book”. She is ready to teach you how to do the same.

She is also a strategic planning consultant with organizations and their boards. She has a depth of experience gained as the Director of Health Facilities Planning for Advocate Health with 28 hospitals, and she spent many years in management at what is now Carle BroMenn Medical Center in Normal. Recently she was the interim Executive Director of the Community Health Care Clinic for nine months.

Sonja is known in Normal for her 24 years as a member of the Normal City Council and as Mayor Pro Tem.

She is a member of the McLean County Board of Health and the Governor’s Rural Affairs Council. She is on the Board of United Way of Illinois where she is past board chair, and is a board member of the McLean County United Way.

Sonja is a widow and grandmother, leading a very active life as evidenced through her frequent Facebook and Instagram posts.

This will be an in-person event with time for Q&A from in-person and livestream attendees.
